Upon opening the box you will see that it has a user manual,  extra o-rings and an extra silicone grommet, 2 coil heads (one will be pre-installed,) the Crown 5 Tank including a drip tip,  and an extra glass tank and drip tip cap. The Crown 5 Tank uses a special “self-cleaning coil technology” which UWELL has used on other tanks as well. According to the user manual, the “Crown V atomizer can absorb the e-juice in the condensation holder through regular usage and vaporize it. It reduces juice leakage and lessens the cleaning frequency.”  The tank also features the “Pro-FOCS Flavor Testing Technology” which properly controls the heating temperature, strictly manages the material quality and completely restores the e-juice flavor.  This technology provides the most flavorful vaping experience on the market.  The tank is made from stainless steel and glass and is available in numerous colors. One of the most interesting aspects of the Crown 5 tank is a quarter-turn child safety feature on the top fill, which works like a medicine bottle. You push down on the mechanism and turn it one-quarter turn, which will unlock it. When it is locked, it will spin freely which can confuse someone who is new to this tank, but once you realize that a silicone check valve inside prevents juice from leaking out (an extra is also provided if it wears after extensive use) while also providing a tight air seal. To replace the cap after filling with your favorite e-juice, you push down on the cap and turn it until it locks, at which point it will spin freely again.  There are 3 10mm air flow holes at the bottom of the tank, which can provide adjustment of air flow through a slider mechanism. There is a press-fit coil design in this tank, so there is no need to screw the coil into the base. The coils that you get in the kit are 2 UN-2 coils, a .23 Ohm single-mesh coil rated 65 to 70 watts and a 0.3 dual-mesh coil rated 50-55 watts. There is also an optional 0.2 triple-mesh coil rated 65-70 watts which can be purchased separately. After installing a new coil and filling your tank, you will want to wait about 5 minutes to allow the juice to settle before vaping.
